The Pioneer Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the Village of Pioneer, Ohio.  The department currently has 8 officers, 3 full-time and 5 part-time, and an Auxiliary Police Unit that currently has 5 officers.  The department provides 24 hour, 7 days a week service to the Village of Pioneer.  

The Village of Pioneer is located in northern Williams County Ohio approximately 1 mile from the Michigan border and 12 miles from the Indiana border.  The village is approximately 2 square miles and has a poplulation of approximately 1500 residents.
